FAST RETAILING

New York, NY

don't know whether the FAST retailing is referring to the street vendor or the screen on the bus stop across the way (is that a bus stop?). You captured NYC - doesn't matter what it is, just sell it, and sell it quick.....

one other thing concerning our discussions about digital enlargements. This image has large areas of pure tone - the graphics are very strong. Yet, there is a jumble of detail in the small colored items in the vendor's stand. Because this area is small and 'random' at best, would this be a candidate for a big enlargement without any problems?

Lyle, I expect this could go quite large, certainly to my sort-of-standard-big-print size of 20.5" wide. The fabric patterns in the vendor's stand and the bare branches in the upper right corner would be where the quality might suffer, but these areas aren't the real interest of the picture. I think even a 22.5x30" (about as big as I can go with the Z3200 from 4/3s format) might hold.

If those areas of picky detail were the real center of interest and a viewer stuck his nose in them the rendering would be disappointing at that huge degree of enlargement.
