AVAILABLE
Derby, Connecticut
This is a building portrait I tried to post recently, but couldn't get to upload correctly because the Google+ robots kept trying to make it look more professional. See Working Pictures for more on that.

Solomon's Lodge
Woodbury, Connecticut
It's still winter light for these "building portraits" even though we're more than halfway through March.

Prints
I made some prints at the beginning of the week, and thought I'd take a first look at things from the 'building portraits' series. There is so much detail and texture in these subjects that I decided to go directly to an 11x14-ish print size, which seems to be a good choice. I want to spend a little time with these and then print some more of them. I'll also want to see how well the texture rendition works at 15x20.

White Brick Building
Norwich, Connecticut
There's quite a bit going on here, but it still seems like a building portrait.

Probation Center
Norwich, Connecticut
Those are the offices that now occupy this former theater. Or was the theater a modification of an older existing structure? This featured in a post over at WP a little while back, seen from another angle as more of a street scene with quite a bit of activity. Here it turns up in building portrait mode.
